Sonia Mann has been appointed to the role of head of field sales at Roma Finance, and also added to the lender’s senior leadership team.

Mann joins from CrowdProperty, where she had been head of intermediaries for a year and half. Previously she worked as corporate relationship director at Together and relationship manager at Santander.

Mann ‒ who has worked in financial services for more than two decades ‒ will be responsible for the implementation of Roma’s key sales strategies and relationships.

Roma noted that it has ambitions to become a £350m business, with the appointment of Mann a key step in those growth plans.

Michael Allison (pictured), commercial director at Roma Finance, said that Mann’s experience and values made her the ideal choice to lead the lender’s external sales team.

He continued: “We haven’t been shy with our plans and our growth trajectory continues to surpass expectations.”

Mann said she was excited to be joining an “energised environment”, adding: “The reputation and ethics of the business are first class and I am looking forward to working with the team and putting my specialist lending and business development skills into play.”

Back in May, Roma launched a revamped leadership team, following the appointment of Allison. Over the last month Roma has also added a new business development manager, new relationship manager and a data and technology director to its team.
