Paradigm has launched a series of videos featuring interviews with senior staff at mortgage lenders around how they see the mortgage market performing in 2023.

The series, named Paradigm Insights, include interviews by Richard Howes, director of mortgages at Paradigm. In the Insight videos, he speaks to Ian Andrew, director of intermediary relationships at Nationwide Building Society, Graham Sellar, head of business development at Santander, and Grant Hendry, director of sales at Foundation Home Loans.

Each interview covers their view of how the intermediary market is likely to play out in the early part of the year, alongside challenges to be aware of. The videos cover a range of themes, including product transfer opportunities, stamp duty, digital innovations that will support brokers and the green agenda.

The videos can be viewed on the Paradigm website, and can be recorded as unstructured continued professional development (CPD) learning for advisers.

Howes (pictured) noted that 2022 had been a “rollercoaster of a year” for the mortgage market, and said the firm wanted to get the views of senior lending representatives on what opportunities and challenges may lie ahead for advisers.

He continued: “These three Paradigm Insights videos are now able to view on our website, plus a range of other CPD content can also be accessed by registering with us. Throughout the year we’ll continue to add more to our CPD Academy to ensure adviser members are fully up to date and on top of the market.”
